Smoked Gouda poblano turkey burger

Serves 2

Tip: For of us that may perhaps well no longer catch smoked Gouda, expend one other pungent cheese a lot like havarti, boursin, pepper jack or Asiago.

  1. Roast 1 poblano pepper unless blackened.
  2. Gash poblano pepper into runt chunks.
  3. Add 1/2 pound ground turkey breast.
  4. Add 1/2 cup dry oats.
  5. Add 1/2 cup chopped onion.
  6. Add 2 ounces smoked Gouda cheese.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon lime juice.
  8. Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon ground unlit pepper.
  9. Add 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
  10. Add chopped poblano.
  11. Create 2 4-ounce patties.
  12. Cook for 5 minutes on either side.
  13. Encourage on entire-wheat buns.
