Smoked Gouda poblano turkey burger
Serves 2
Tip: For of us that may perhaps well no longer catch smoked Gouda, expend one other pungent cheese a lot like havarti, boursin, pepper jack or Asiago.
- Roast 1 poblano pepper unless blackened.
- Gash poblano pepper into runt chunks.
- Add 1/2 pound ground turkey breast.
- Add 1/2 cup dry oats.
- Add 1/2 cup chopped onion.
- Add 2 ounces smoked Gouda cheese.
- Add 1 tablespoon lime juice.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon ground unlit pepper.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
- Add chopped poblano.
- Create 2 4-ounce patties.
- Cook for 5 minutes on either side.
- Encourage on entire-wheat buns.
